My Reflection

I studied about how to speech, make a presentation, make a slide show, and so on. I think that thanks to this cource, I progressed with presentation. At first, I didn't like presentation because I was shy. So I wasn't good at speech. However, I can speech now because I experienced many presentation this cource. As I experienced, I liked making a slide show. Slide shows can show about what I want to tell. In this cource, I learned many things. I learned about NUFS, Nagoya city, amusement parks all over the world and so on. I liked searching for Nagoya city because it was interesting for me. I'm from Mie and I didn't know about Nagoya well. It was a good point that I knew something about Nagoya. The latest presentation was useful for me because I want to go abroad and this presentation teached me a lot of information about go abroad. Through this class, My English skill was up but I don't satisfied with my pronounciation. I want to improve my pronounciation. This is a my aim in next year.

University of Toronto

University of Toronto was built in 1850 and is composed by three campuses. It has Saint George campus, Mississauga campus, and Scarborough campus. Especially, I researched on Saint George campus.

Saint George campus is located in center of downtown. Here is a famous building and is often used as studio for a film. There are Royal Ontario Museum and Queen’s park. Students may also go to there.

Also, it’s useful for you to go to this campus because the access is easy to here by official facilities for travel. Overseas students can use a famous library, athletics facility, and internet. That’s very nice.

Japanese spring

In spring, we go out to see the cherry blossoms. It is called Hanami. Hanami is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of cherry blossoms and ume blossoms.

In Nagoya, Tsurumai Park is a famous spot. We can see many cherry blossoms in Tsurumai Park. American don’t have the custom, so you will enjoy this event.

We also hold Doll festival on March 3. Platform with red carpet are used to display a set of ornamental dolls. Dolls wear kimono. The custom begun during the Heian period. Heian period symbolizes old Japanese culture.Girls enjoy this festival. You also will be able to enjoy it.

Rabechilbi Turnip Festival

I will tell about Rabechilbi Turnip Festival’s history.

This Festival began in 1884.There is a custom of service in Switzerland. Farmer’s women who lived on the hill made turnip’s lamp to light a church to their house in middle of winter.

It is said that Rabechilbi Turnip Festival’ beginning. They told how to make turnip’s lamp. Then it became an annual event in Switzerland.

Recently, women who wear dark color clothes led to churchgoing.

Petajavesi Old Church

Petajavesi Old Church stands in the Finnish southwest and Prtajavesi that about 300 kilometers away from capital, Helsinki. This means it is about 30 kilometers west of Yuvasukyura.Petajavesi is located in the latitude about 62 degrees and longitude about 25 degrees.

So I introduce how to get Petajavsi Old Church. You change trains at Yuvasukyura station and get off at Petajavesi station.

Around the church are covered Finnish forest and we can see Northern Europe’s forest.It has beautiful groves.

Animals in the Hill of Brume

I examined for animals in the Hill of Burume.

In Burume, we can see a show that sheep is controlled by dog. But now, it discontinues for sudden illness of shepherd’s dog.

In the touch experience of the rabbit, we can touch a very lovely, light rabbit. The brushing experience of the horse is a valuable experience that cannot be done easily. The horse is pleased. But we take a rest now.

Milking action is difficult, but it is very interesting. Moreover, we can ride a horse in the Hill of Burume.

We cannot usually take the pet, but the 2.4th Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday are 'Dog free day. 'So we can take a pet to enter a kindergarten for 300 yen each.

Recommendation: I had heard about E.T. But I had never seen it. So I wanted to watch it, I went to a movie theater. I watched E.T. remaked. E.T. is very cute. This movie sometimes funny, but the scene that E.T. go back home is very moving. Elliott and E.T. ‘s friendship is real. I want to make friends with like an E.T.
